Shelly Wuest

I have been a cosmetologist for 25 years. Growing up, I have always loved styling hair. It all began with styling my friends' and family's hair. After graduating high school I attended a Redken Cosmetology School and received my cosmetology license in 1985. I started as a licensed independent contractor right out of school and truly loved it. I got married at 25 and moved to Austin, TX, which has provided many opportunities to expand my knowledge of color and styles. I also perform facial waxing, manicures and pedicures.

I specialize in color. It is my favorite thing to do along with styling. I have experience in many products including Goldwell, CHI, Matrix, Biosilk, and Redken. Goldwell is my favorite! Yet CHI is great because it has no ammonia.

As a cosmetologist, my goal is to please my clients by keeping their hair in a healthy condition and making them look beautiful at the same time. Continuing education is another goal of mine and is very important to me. I love to have consultations with my clients, building a working relationship. I have been in Austin for 17 years and I am very proud to own my wonderful salon and boutique.
